BNTM Episode Nine already. Just one more episode left, where does the time go?
The show started with more shots of Cape Verde (as if we haven't seen enough!) just to make us feel really jealous of those girls - I bet Simone was there eating ice cream and sunning herself somewhere as well !!
Having said that, Alannah was still sad that her friend had been eliminated- she knew just how much it meant.
Matthew Williamson Photo Shoot
All the girls were excited, they were now within touching distance of the final and Model Mail focused their minds even more.
The first challenge was a shoot for Matthew Williamson who designs the Butterfly range for Debenhams.
Liv nearly fainted, apparently she had done a project all about him!
They were going to be filmed on a Catamaran, now of course everyone knows that a Catamaran (/ˌkætəməˈræn/) (informally, a "cat") is a multi-hulled watercraft featuring two parallel hulls of equal size. It is a geometry-stabilized craft, deriving its stability from its wide beam, rather than from a ballasted keel as with a monohull sailboat.
Hahaha - well according to Wikipedia it is - I didn't know either until I actually saw it and then I thought ohhh yes that's what it is - sorry teachers!!
They were taken to the Catamaran by dingy accompanied by Abbey who looked stunning and Nicky who looked stunning as well!.
This is where it all gets a bit boring because at the shoot they were were all absolutely fabulous.
Liv always seems so full of confidence and positive, so it's hard to believe when the judges are around she goes into her shell, however, her pictures are magical. A bit of toning on her legs recommended though -yuk - I joined a gym and went once, it's so boring - I must do better.
Tallulah was at a disadvantage because of her height. Abbey kept asking her to stretch, which was difficult with all the other things to remember. Once again though she pulled it out of the bag and her picture was superb.
Alannah was strong and confident and looked amazing when she arrived on the boat. The clients thought she was a bit top heavy for them but her pictures were unbelievable.
Poor Jennifer - what is it with her and water! - she had been waiting a while so what with the heat and the rocking boat she felt pretty ill. But true professional she is, when the shoot began, no one would have ever known. She was brilliant, in total control of her body - the clients said they would book her.
At the end of the shoot Jennifer was still unwell and decided to return to the resort, leaving the other three to sip champagne and leap into the Atlantic ocean - it's a hard life!!
When they returned to the apartment they found that Jennifer was feeling a little better and then Model Mail arrived. The clue this time was 'Lights, Camera, Action' and Alannah correctly guessed it was going to be an advert. The next day they were taken for their first professional engagement filming for Boohoo. A website I have used many times myself.
The girls had to pretend they were going to a festival - it looked so exciting and you could see they were all buzzing.
Once again everyone was amazing, they really were, so the bits you remember are when things go wrong, so sorry about this girls but ........ Alannah, doing her incredible catwalk when the clients actually wanted a normal girl next door stroll - Liv, being told she was too tall and poor Tallulah trying to walk down a bumpy slope in the highest heels you can imagine. One bit I did think was super sensational was with Tallulah on the salt plain and her smile which seems to comes from nowhere.
So that was it, I thought everyone had done their best and the photos and film were just stunning, but of course someone has to go and once again the girls were critiqued individually.
I think I have covered most of the comments earlier, so who was it to be - Liv had picture of the week and she was followed to safety by Jenifer, so it was just Alannah and Tallulah left - how they must have been feeling goodness knows, I'm sure each could hear the other's heart pounding.
In the end though it was tears for Tallualh. She was so upset, it meant so much to her and you could hear the emotion in her voice as she talked through here experiences on the show. Her pictures are stunning and couple that with her musical ability, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of Tallulah.
Next week it's the last episode, what shall I talk about then!! It's the final of course and there's going to be a nude shoot and the usual catwalk show I reckon. Who's going to win let me know.
Thanks for reading
